From Brief to Installation

The DΓ©cor Design Process

Stage 1.

The Brief

We initially ask all prospective clients to provide an overview of their project. In most cases, we will send a brief email with guided questions, allowing us to gain a better understanding of not only your requirements but also your venue and the end user. We’ll then assess your needs and invite you to our studio for a free one-hour consultation. Alternatively, we can visit you at a location of your preference for a small fee.

Stage 2.

Design Proposal

When we meet in person you’ll be able to discuss your project with one of our design directors in greater detail but most importantly you’ll be able to get to know us and see how we work. We will examine and collect any existing floor plans and photographs and will ask a number of questions in order to develop a carefully curated fee proposal based upon your project needs and aspirations.

Our design fee will be outlined within the fee proposal provided to you, which will require your agreement before we proceed to a site survey and commence work on the following stages. At this stage we will also define the budgets which would be required to achieve a design of DΓ©cor quality.

Stage 3.

The Concept

The concept stage is the first and the most important part of the interior design process. We spend valuable time creating concept boards that acknowledge your aspirations and offer solutions to issues within the current space – all in accordance with the specified budget. We carefully collect and edit ideas for the individual elements that will turn the space into an experience for your clients, rather than somewhere they simply make use of.

Stage 4.

Sourcing & Procurement

Once the scheme presented has been approved we develop and finalise all drawings and specifications. We will then handle the full procurement process on your behalf, planning all orders and purchasing to ensure deliveries are timed correctly in line with the project deadline.

Stage 5.

Project Management & Installation

Everything comes together at this stress-free stage as we manage the entire final installation, including numerous skilled craftsmen such as electricians, joiners and decorators. We coordinate each individual tradeperson’s schedule in advance to ensure works are carried out in the correct order, according to the individual project’s development stages, providing assurance that each space we design is completed by the specified deadline. We monitor all works carried out to ensure every project is delivered to our exceptionally high standard.
